WELLINGTON’S Kent Terrace was awash with pointy ears and pointy hats as fans lined up for the exclusive Desolation of Smaug fan event held at the Embassy Theatre.
The event, which was simulcast from Wellington, New York, London and Los Angeles, gave fans their first glimpse of the latest instalment in the Hobbit trilogy and a chance to ask the stars questions.
